Using the following questions as my personal guideline for making tough spirit-based decisions, I have never once been led astray:
Am I being driven by fear and ego or led by love and God?
Will the course of action promote unity or create conflict?
Will this course of action join or separate?
Is this course of action transparent—does it need any rationalising, defending, or justifying?
Is this course of action consistent with the spiritual principles I am trying to build my life upon?
What are those principles?
Finally, is my decision in the best interests of the ultimate good of all?
If I have prayed about it, have run my answer by my sponsor, and can answer positively in relation all of these questions, the course of action is spiritually principled and surely must be good.
