I said a while ago that, in my opinion, the gift of God was
made at the foundation of the earth. I'm not the first guy that's ever said
that. It's written, 'fear not little flock; it's the Father's good pleasure to
give us the Kingdom.' It doesn't say you've got to earn it. It is written,
'take no thought of the morrow what you shall eat, what you shall drink, or
wherewithal you shall be clothed.' The Heavenly Father knows what you have need
of before you ask him. It is written, 'whatsoever desire when you pray, believe
that you have it and you'll receive it.' Now, how in the world are you going to
believe that you've got something that you haven't got? How're you going to
believe it? There's a trick to it. You've got to know that the gift of God was made at the foundation of the earth,
and that God's will for you, His child, is fulfilment, peace, and joy; and that
every good and perfect gift is from His hands. When we recognise this, we then
know that what we might pray for is already ours. It's already ours. The gift
of God to His kids. No barter.
